Players return to Training

NRL players officially returned to training on Wednesday in preparation for the resumption of the 2020 Telstra Premiership on May 28.

Players and clubs posted shared their excitement on social media, following six weeks of training in isolation since Round 2.

RLPA Chief Executive Officer, Clint Newton, stated in a press release earlier in the week that players are committed to bringing rugby league back to the community.

“Like many in our community, players will have changed domestic arrangements and an added weight of responsibility with time away from family and reduced payments – but one thing that won’t be impacted is their effort on the field and their commitment to the game and its fans.”
