The Rugby League Players Association is pleased to announce Wests Tigers prop Terrell May has won the Player of the Month award for April, as voted by NRL players.
May was voted April’s Player of the Month ahead of fellow nominees Isaiya Katoa and Hudson Young. This was May’s maiden award win, after an impressive start to the 2025 season and a Player of the Month nomination in March.
Following Payne Haas’s Player of the Month win in March, May’s win means props have won the first two player-voted awards of the season.
The 2024 Impact Player of the Year has been a force for the Tigers this season, leading from the front with an average of 176 running metres per game, and showcased his durability and stamina by averaging 76 minutes per game. May has well and truly announced his presence as one of the best front rowers in the competition.
The Player of the Month award is presented by Levels Network, with the winners and nominees announced by Justin Horo and Willie Mason on their podcast each month.
