Bromwich hits 300 games
Jesse Bromwich will join the illustrious 300-game club when his Dolphins side plays the Dragons this weekend. He becomes the 46th player in the history of the premiership to reach the 300-game mark.
Before the Dolphins, Bromwich played 295 of his NRL games for the Melbourne Storm and was a Premiership winner with them in 2012, 2017 and 2020. Along with his NRL career, Bromwich has had a long international career for the New Zealand Kiwis.
The Rugby League Players’ Association congratulates Jesse on this rare and incredible achievement.
RLPA Chief Executive Officer Clint Newton on Jesse’s massive milestone:
“On behalf of the RLPA and players, I congratulate Jesse Bromwich on an incredible achievement of reaching 300 NRL games. A true warrior on the field and a man of great character off it, Jesse was the cornerstone of the Melbourne Storm’s success for years and has already made an immediate impact at The Dolphins.”
“Reaching the 300-game milestone not only highlights Jesse’s skill, dedication but also clearly demonstrates his sheer resilience. It’s an honour to have watched Jesse play and be part of the NRL community.”
RLPA Player Operations Manager Tom Symonds on Jesse’s 300th game:
“Jesse has earned the utmost respect of his playing group, not only for his incredible toughness and consistency as a player but also for his leadership both on and off the field. He’s a true champion of the game, and his teammates have been extremely lucky to play alongside him.
“It’s impossible not to admire Jesse’s achievements and contribution to the NRL over a long period of time. He’s an absolute pro and an inspiration to the rugby league community. Congratulations to Jesse on reaching 300 games.”
