Strange takes out August Player of the Month

The Rugby League Players Association is proud to announce Ethan Strange as the Player of the Month for August, as voted by NRL players.

Presented in partnership with Levels Network, the RLPA’s Player of the Month winners and nominees are announced by Justin Horo and Willie Mason on the popular Levels podcast each month.

August was a month to remember for Canberra’s Ethan Strange who, at just 21, has quickly become one of the competition’s most exciting players with his creativity, toughness, running game, and composure drawing widespread respect.

Ethan is the second Raiders player in a row to earn the RLPA’s Player of the Month award, after Kaeo Weekes won Player of the Month of July.

The month of August for Ethan was highlighted by a stunning hat-trick against Manly in Round 23 and his starring role in the golden point thriller against Penrith. In that match, Ethan scored late to force extra time before producing the match-winning offload to Kaeo Weekes in one of the season’s most unforgettable finishes to a game.

With each performance, Ethan continues to grow and develop as a crucial catalyst for the Raiders’ Minor Premiership season.
