The opening match of the 2019 Holden State of Origin series is just over a week away, with both Queensland and New South Wales naming their squads for the clash at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on Wednesday, 5 June.
Eight players in total are set to make their Origin debuts – five for NSW and three for QLD.
NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler has called upon Canberra duo Jack Wighton and Nick Cotric, South Sydney pair Cody Walker and Cameron Murray, and Broncos forward Payne Haas.
QLD coach Kevin Walters has named a new-look Maroons side featuring Broncos duo Joe Ofahengaue and David Fifita, plus Wests Tigers skipper Moses Mbye.
