Three ARL Commissioners whose terms ended today were re-appointed during the Commission’s meeting in Auckland.
Commission Chair John Grant announced that:
- Wayne Pearce was re-appointed for a three year term
- Chris Sarra was re-appointed, but indicated his intention to step down in 12-18 months
- Ian Elliot was re-appointed, but indicated his intention to step down over the next six months.
Mr Grant said the process to find the best possible replacements for Mr Elliot and Mr Sarra would begin immediately.
