In a shortened week of NRL action, eight teams took the field without their State of Origin stars, resulting in three more players making their first-grade debuts
George Fai (Broncos), Francis Tualau (Bulldogs) and Lindsay Collins (Roosters) all played their first NRL match over the weekend, taking the total first grade debutants for 2017 out to 33 players.
Tyrell Fuimaono from the Rabbitohs impressed in his first 80-minute match, making 142 metres and 16 tackles against Parramatta.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad from the Warriors ran for a huge 172 metres on Saturday night against Brisbance, while Sharks hooker Jayden Brailey made another 52 tackles against Canterbury.
