The Rugby League Players’ Association (RLPA) have joined
the Pass it on Clothing family as a clothing partner.
The RLPA Office in Balmain this week had a clothing bin installed for staff donations – assisting Pass it on Clothing in delivering real outcomes for those less fortunate.
RLPA Chief Executive Ian Prendergast said the team were excited to take the first step to working more closely with Pass it on Clothing in the future.
“The installation of the clothing donation bin in our office
is just the first step in what I believe will be an ongoing relationship
between the RLPA and Pass it on Clothing,” Mr Prendergast said.
“With a number of our members already involved with the organisation and doing some great work int he community with Chris (Vagg) and the team – bringing the RLPA closer to Pass it on Clothing made perfect sense.
“It helps give perspective to our members who are already involved, and I know our staff are really excited to help make a difference.
“This is a great initiative for everyone to get involved in
and we want to help spread the message that it can be easy to help those less
fortunate.
“I look forward to the relationship with Pass it on Clothing
evolving further over the coming months through various activations with the
RLPA team.”
Pass it on Clothing co-founder Chris Vagg said it was exciting to have the RLPA join the family as a clothing partner.
“Pass it on Clothing & Co are thrilled the RLPA have
joined us as a clothing partner,” Mr Vagg said. “This provides the RLPA team
the opportunity to pass on those pieces of high-quality clothing they no longer
wear.
“Those pieces go directly to those who need them most at our
weekly outreach services, providing immediate and tangible positive impact.
“Together we’ll make a significant difference to those
experiencing homelessness.”
