Latimore celebrates education milestone

The Penrith Panthers Player has completed his Bachelor of Business, and joins an exclusive Club of NRL Players who have successfully completed their degrees whilst still playing in the NRL.

Latimore attributes his success in balancing fulltime playing with part-time study and family life to three things; the Graduates of League (GOL is an NRL/RLPA Education & Wellbeing initiative), the support of Education and Wellbeing staff at the Panthers, and his wife Natalie.

The GOL program offers NRL Players flexibility around tutorials and assessments and enables them to combine their education and their sport.  The UOW has been outstanding in its support of Players and is a leader in the GOL program.

“The RLPA wholeheartedly supports Players who invest in their education and believes it is vital to encourage Players to plan for life after football,” said Clint Newton, RLPA General Manager of Player Relations.

“It’s an impressive achievement and milestone for Jeremy and we wish him every success as he continues to plan his future.”
