Paul Green 1972 – 2022

On behalf of the RLPA Board, our team and our Members, we send our deepest condolences to the Green family, after the passing of former player and Premiership-winning coach Paul Green.

“It’s shattering to hear of the sudden passing of Paul,” said Clint Newton, CEO of the RLPA.

“Your imagination will never do the reality of the situation any justice when you consider his family’s loss and those that loved him.

“His tenacity and ability, both as a player and coach, can not be disputed given his achievements, but I don’t doubt any achievement connected with rugby league would be dwarfed by comparison to his achievements as a father, husband and friend.”
