Euan Aitken was elected to the RLPA Board as a player Director at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
“I’m proud to have been elected to the RLPA Board as a player Director,” Aitken said.
“I’m grateful to our united members, Chair Steven Harker, CEO Clint Newton and my fellow Directors for the trust they’ve placed in me.
“With the current CBA term approaching its final year, I am excited to learn and develop in this role over the short term before we begin negotiations for a new CBA that continues to relentlessly and respectfully advance the terms and conditions of male and female players.”
Euan Aitken joined the Men’s Player Advisory Group in November 2024.
“I’ve joined the Player Advisory Group because I want to learn be more involved in the game, and see where I can give back to the players,” said Euan on his appointment to the MPAG.
“The players’ association is there for you and the whole playing group, and it’s only getting bigger and stronger.
“We’ve worked hard over the past few years to get processes in place where we’re protected and treated fairly.
“Being a part of the Player Advisory Group means / can give my input on things and leam off some great players.”
