Players support Beanies for Brain Cancer Round

In the lead up to Round 6, which marks the fourth Beanie for Brain Cancer Round in the NRL, players have shown strong support for the campaign across social media.

In 2019, the NRL Beanies For Brain Cancer Round raised over $3.1 million.

With no fans at games this weekend due to COVID-19 restrictions, supporters are asked to show their support from their lounge rooms by purchasing a beanie and posting a photo on social media.

Beanies can be purchased from the online shop or at participating IGA stores in NSW/ACT and all Lowes Australia stores.

The Mark Hughes Foundation is a non-for-profit Health Promotion Charity that raises funds for Brain Cancer research – to date the Foundation has raised over $17 million and funded; a Brain Cancer Biobank, Travel Grants, multiple research projects around Australia including three Fellowships and multiple Brain Cancer Care Coordinators.

Players and NRL Clubs have been actively supporting the campaign on social media – check out some of their posts below!
