Media Releases News NRL Nines Tournament 13/07/2017 The Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) supports the decision to suspend the NRL Nines tournament next year to help ease pressure on player workloads leading into the 2018 season. The RLPA has worked closely with the NRL in reaching this outcome, with General Manager – Player Relations Clint Newton and Brian Canavan (NRL) chairing the Workloads and Balance Committee. The RLPA would like to commend the NRL on taking into consideration the impact that the tournament would have on the players following the 2017 Rugby League World Cup – which will not conclude until December 2. The RLPA looks forward to working with the NRL to re-introduce this exciting concept in the future. Post navigation Next Post Queensland clinch Origin Previous Post Mannah: Players help break...
