New Zealand and Tonga confirm squads

The New Zealand Kiwis and Mate Ma’a Tonga have named their squads for the inaugural Oceania Cup Test at Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday.

Veteran halves Benji Marshall and Keiran Foran have been selected for the Kiwis, with Dallin Watene-Zelezniak set to captain the side once again.

The Tongan squad boast plenty of experience with Jason Taumalolo, Andrew Fifita, Will Hopoate and Man Ma’u all named for the important clash.

The last time the two sides met was in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, with Tonga scoring a 28-22 upset over the Kiwis.

The match will be played at 5:30pm (local) time in Auckland on Saturday.
