Petero Civoniceva is the Captain of the Penrith Panthers. After commencing his professional career with the Brisbane Broncos in 1998, he moved to the Panthers in 2008 and, at the start of the 2010 Season, had played almost 250 NRL games. He helped lead the Broncos in 1998 and 2006 to Grand Final victories.
In addition, Petero has played 40 tests for Australia and is the highest capped Australian Test Forward in history. He has also been an integral part of the Queensland historic 5 in a row series winning team. Petero has played 27 State of Origin games for Queensland.
Petero also has a young family of four which he enjoys spending time with.
