The RLPA aims to be a relevant, effective and value-adding member led organization of first choice.

The RLPA will deliver its mission by harnessing the collective intellect of Players and others associated with the game to advance the general good of the Players.

Mission Elements

Influence (effectiveness): ability to effectively influence decision makers within the game to enhance the general good of the Players

Support: offer a framework of support mechanisms for members within the game over and above the NRL Administration, NRL Club and Player Agent influence, relevant to the needs of members.

Contribution: acknowledge and promote the contributions made to society from members that enhance the value of the game, their Club and as an individual.

First Choice: become the first contact point for members requiring advice with regards to contracts, welfare, education, Player Agents and post-career life.

Why does the RLPA exist?

The RLPA is the ‘honest broker’, overseeing and moderating the ‘spheres of influence’, being the NRL Administration, NRL Clubs and the Player Agents.
